Contact Us
The short version
Everything reaches us through one address: support@internationalfreelancersday.com. INTERNATIONALFREELANCERSDAY is run by a small independent team of editors, and that inbox is read by the people who actually write and edit the site, not by a ticketing bot. We do not publish a phone number and we do not have a public office.
Help us route your message
A clear subject line gets you a faster answer. These prefixes go straight to the right person:
- Correction: for factual errors, outdated platform fees, stale rate data or tax figures that have changed. Include the article URL and, if you have it, a link to the current official source. Corrections are our top priority; see the corrections policy for how they are handled.
- Tip: for news about platform policy changes, fee changes or anything else the freelance community should know. Tell us how you know, and whether we may contact you with questions.
- Advertising: for display advertising and sponsored content enquiries. Read the advertise page first, because it explains what we do and do not sell.
- Copyright: for DMCA notices and permission requests, per the DMCA and copyright policy.
- Privacy: for data requests under the privacy policy.
What we can and cannot help with
We are a publication, not a marketplace and not a support desk for one. To be plain about the limits:
- We cannot resolve disputes between you and a freelance platform, recover a suspended account, or release held funds. Only the platform can do that, through its own support channels.
- We cannot give individual tax, legal or financial advice. We can explain how a system generally works; a licensed professional in your country has to apply it to your situation.
- We do not broker work. We cannot match freelancers with clients or vouch for either side.
- Never send us passwords, full payment card numbers, government identity documents or platform login credentials. We will not ask for them, and any message that appears to come from us asking for them is not from us.
Response times
We aim to acknowledge corrections within two working days and to answer everything else within a week. If a fee table or tax figure you reported turns out to be wrong, the fix usually goes up faster than the reply telling you about it. If you have heard nothing after ten days, write again with the same subject line; a resend beats a message lost to a spam filter.
Guest posts and PR
We rarely accept guest posts and we do not accept them in exchange for links. PR pitches are welcome as background but we do not republish press releases. Anything commercial belongs under the advertising subject line so it is handled, and labelled, as what it is.
